ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of the Boston Museum School, with a BFA from Tufts University. I am primarily a painter with a background in printmaking. I like to do editions of work, with the same theme, color scheme, or content.  My husband and I recently bought a 1770s property on 62 acres in Chester Vermont, Flamstead Farm. After careful consideration we concluded we could not renovate the original house. I am awed by the history in the place, and plan to salvage as much wood and fixtures as possible when it is razed to use in future work. We are building a log cabin, and until it is completed we live in the owner’s quarters of a nearby inn.

My day job is as an education coordinator for children in foster care. I hope to incorporate my experience into the farm by opening it to educational opportunities for underserved youth. In addition to having animals and a garden, we plan to offer camping/glamping and small cabin rentals.

I am excited for the opportunity to learn and explore the area, and look forward to painting the landscapes that amaze me at every turn in the road.
